NFL Expert Picks: Week Five

The Kansas City Chiefs got their first victory of the season last week over the winless Minnesota Vikings.

Unfortunately, it looks like the experts at ESPN don’t think the Chiefs will have an encore performance.

Of the eight experts on the panel, only Ron Jaworski picked the Chiefs to win. The rest chose Curtis Painter and the Colts. The Pigskin Pick’em voters also went with the Colts.

Our friends at Accuscore, however, sided with the good guys and picked KC to win.

I can’t say I blame the experts for their skepticism. The Chiefs looked so bad the first two weeks of the season that it will take some time and wins for people to forget.

It really comes down to which Chiefs team shows up. If the guys from the first half of the Vikings go to Indy, the Chiefs will have a hard time winning. If the guys from the second half of the Vikings game show up, I think the Chiefs will win going away.
