Madden NFL 12: Week 5 Roster Update
The team at EA Sports has released their Week 5 roster update.
I will get to how the Chiefs did in just a second but can someone please tell me what is taking so long for EA to get their damn patch out. If you have the game and you have played any franchise mode games as the Chiefs, then you know that it rains in every single non-dome contest. It is maddening to the point where I have stopped playing the game.
Let me also say that I love the game-play in this year’s version. I find the passing game a real challenge and the running game seems manageable but not too easy. I am really enjoying it and I really love the dynamic player performance in franchise mode.
That being said, how the HELL can EA release a game with such terrible mistakes. The rain thing is ridiculous. It makes you wonder if they even tested the mode before they released the game. They HAD to know, right? If they did, they released an unfinished game with glaring mistakes. If they didn’t, then they are really bad at their job.
The fact that it has taken over a month for them to fix this issue is ridiculous. Shame on EA.
Ratings updates after the jump.
After weeks of getting their ratings dropped, the Chiefs got a little bit better after a win against the Vikings.
Here is the news:
Shane Bannon | FB | KC | Added to the game |
Kelly Gregg | DL | KC | Decrease, from 80 to 79OVR |
LeRon McClain | FB | KC | Decrease, from 88 to 86OVR |
Matt Cassel | QB | KC | Deep Accuracy Increase, from 71 to 74DACC |
Amon Gordon | DL | KC | Increase, from 66 to 70OVR |
Ryan Succop | K | KC | Increase, from 75 to 76OVR |
Dwayne Bowe | WR | KC | Increase, from 89 to 90OVR |
Tamba Hali | LB | KC | Increase, from 91 to 92OVR |
All seems fair to me. Glad to see my boy Amon Gordon getting some love. This gives me even more reasons to yank Kelly Gregg from my lineup.
That is, if they patch the game so it is playable.
What do you think Addicts? Should Madden get over it already and make Tamba a 99?
