Le’Ron McClain Predicts Chiefs Will Win Next Five Games

The Kansas City Chiefs may have started 0-3, but not everyone thinks their season is over.

FB Le’Ron McClain thinks they are going to rattle off five straight wins.

McClain took to Twitter today to announce to the world that the Chiefs are about to make a run.

"We will overcome this… 5-3 at the end of the 2 quarter of the season… #CHIEFS"

For the uninitiated, McClain is regurgitating some of Todd Haley’s coach speak in his tweet. Haley pointlessly breaks the season into quarters, telling them that  going 3-1 in each grouping of four games will give them a 12-4 record and a spot in the playoffs.

So while the Chiefs may be 0-3 in the first quarter of the season, after they lose to the Vikings next week, they’ll be 0-0 again. Perhaps if Haley can convince Scott Pioli that the team will really be back at .500 in two weeks he can avoid getting fired during the bye week.

If we are to listen to McClain, however, Haley doesn’t need to worry. If Le’Ron has it right, that means the Chiefs are going to defeat the Vikings, Colts, Raiders, Chargers and Dolphins in consecutive games.

While it is certainly possible the Chiefs could win some of those games, unless McClain plans on playing QB (and doing it well), methinks the Chiefs might fall a little short of his prediction.

Ah well. Aim high, Le’Ron.
