To go along with our Earning Their Arrowheads series recognizing players who showed up on Sunday, we also have decided to hand out a weekly award to the player who didn’t show up…or, who showed up but probably shouldn’t have.

We call it: The Herm Edwards Award For Football Futility

And this week it goes to…

Barry Richardson

I can think of no player more deserving of this award than Richardson. He was absolutely terrible Friday night, drawing three, count em’ three holding penalties. Often in crucial moments.

Way to go Barry “The Drive Killer” Richardson.
