Report: Charles, Flowers May Sit Out Tonight’s Game

Bob Gretz is reporting that RB Jamaal Charles may have suffered a leg injury this week in practice. According to Getz, Charles could miss tonight’s game.

Some sort of leg injury that RB Jamaal Charles suffered during Wednesday’s practice may keep him on the sidelines against the Rams. It did not appear to be anything serious, but it’s doubtful that Haley will take a chance with his offensive engine.

Gretz goes on to say that flowers could sit as well.

I am perfectly fine with this. Flowers and Charles can play. The important thing is that their minor injuries are all healed up for the first regular season game.

This could mean we’ll get some extra looks at Dexter McCluster and Le’Ron McClain.
