New Chief Harold Ayodele Has A Questionable Past

The Kansas City Chiefs added free agent NT Harold Ayodele yesterday. A quick google search of Ayodele does turn up one troubling article.

Harold Ayodele, 17, was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation, lewd and lascivious conduct and two other charges that have not been disclosed by police.

Ayodele, a senior, is the brother of Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Akin Ayodele.

A 14-year-old freshman told police she was forced into a bathroom once in September and again Nov. 5, during which she was touched inappropriately and during which her assailant exposed himself. She told police she has also been subjected to suggestive comments several times during the time.

A reader pointed this out in the comments yesterday but I had been holding off on posting it while I searched for more information regarding the matter. Unfortunately, I was unable to unearth the outcome of the situation. I could find no follow up articles on the paper’s web site. The only other mention of the situation was an article explaining that Ayodele had been kicked off the football team.
