Reports: Glenn Dorsey Carted Off The Field

A couple of reports coming from Twitter are not good.

It appears that Chiefs DE Glenn Dorsey left the practice field on a golf cart.

Our man at camp, Ryan James, provided the tweet. Ryan’s is the first tweet that I have seen that zeros in on the actual knee Dorsey injured.

The good news is that Dorsey walked to the tent by himself. The bad news is, Tom Brady walked to the locker room by himself a few years ago after Pollard slammed into his knee. Walking off on your own is an encouraging sign but by no means a sign that you are definitely ok.

We’ll keep you updated. Though I have to say, letting Shaun Smith walk is looking like a bigger and bigger mistake. He was arguably KC’s best D-lineman against the run last season. It would have been a toss up between him and Dorsey.
