Kansas City Chiefs Head To Training Camp Thursday

The Kansas City Chiefs are back in business.

Players were allowed back at Arrowhead Stadium today to meet with coaches and to train. Reports indicated that QB Matt Cassel was one of the first players through the door. No doubt he is meeting with his new QB coach Jim Zorn as the two need to make up for lost time.

As for training camp, the team confirmed today that they will travel to St. Joe’s on Thursday and will hold their first practice on Friday. The first public practice will be held at 3:30 local time.

President Mark Donovan was able to shed a little light on the camp schedule at a press conference held this morning at Arrowhead Stadium.

“One is there will be multiple night practices up at camp, two is we will be doing family fun day as we have in the past,” said Donovan. “Right now it’s scheduled for Friday August 6th. We will also have a season ticket holder night at training camp.”

So who is going up to training camp? As always, we’re looking for field reporters that will be attending practices. If you will be in attendance and are interesting in contributing photos, videos and descriptions to AA, please email me at patrick.arrowheadaddict@gmail.com
