Arrowhead Addict, FanSided Switch To Livefyre Commenting System

Arrowhead Addict and the FanSided Network have switched to a new commenting system called Livefyre.

Livefyre is a system that allows us to make commenting on FanSided sites easier than ever before. There are a number of advantages to this system and I am going to run down a few of them right now:

1. Live Commenting

For the first time, FanSided will have live commenting. That means when you comment with Livefyre, your comment will appear immediately, without a page refresh required. That means if you are responding to someone and they are in the comments section at the same time, they will see your response appear in real time. This creates almost a chat room-like atmosphere that should help spur conversations and keep hot topics hot.

2. Ease of Access

You can sign in to comment through a number of different channels including your Twitter or Facebook accounts. Also, once you are logged in to comment on one Fansided site, you are logged in to comment on them all. You can now surf through all the networks best sites without having to log in multiple times to comment.

3. Profiles and Points

Want to build your reputation as the best commenter in AA history? Livefyre allows voting for quality comments. If someone nails tit on their comments, give them a like to help encourage quality comments throughout all posts on the site. Livefyre also allows you to build a profile that allows a user’s recent comments, blog posts, rating, social links, and more, all in one place.
