Kansas City Chiefs Players Eric Berry, Brandon Flowers Featured In Ad For Porn Expo

Two Kansas City Chiefs players, safety Eric Berry and CB Brandon Flowers, were featured in an advertisement for the Exxxotica Expo 2011.

What is the Exxxotica Expo?

It is the largest gathering of porn industry stars in the world.

Apparently an official launch party for the expo was was held in Miami last month. A number of NFL players were listed in the ad as “hosts” of the launch party.

The problem with all this isn’t necessarily the players’ attendance at the event, but the fact that they were featured in uniform in the advertisement.

The story was broken by ABC-7 in Chicago. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy spoke to ABC-7 about the matter.

"“The NFL office works on behalf of the clubs to protect their intellectual property rights in matters such as this.”"

There is probably a pretty good chance that the NFL players, which also included Bears safety Major Wright, Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson, and Raiders wideout Jacoby Ford, didn’t know that images of them in uniform would be used in the ad.

I don’t know what will come of all this. I doubt any of the players will get in trouble. More than likely, the league will go after the organizers of the event.
