Who Will Be The Biggest Addition To The 2011 Kansas City Chiefs
Last offseason the Kansas City Chiefs added a number of key employees both on and off the field that added to their surprising 2010 run. Some of the additions lived up to their expectations. Romeo Crennel, Charlie Weis, Ryan Lilja and Casey Weigmann were all expected to make the Chiefs a better football team. Yet there were some other new faces that exceeded expectations. Shaun Smith, Kendrick Lewis and Tony Moeaki all proved to be much more valuable then most originally thought they would be.
Unfortunately, in 2011, the Chiefs haven’t had the opportunity to bring in a ton of new faces. The lockout has prevented the league year from starting and so there has been no free agency period. It has also prevented the Chiefs from continuing to negotiate with their own free agents in an attempt to bring back key members of the 2010 squad.
Still, thanks to the draft and some pre-lockout moves, the Chiefs have made a few additions that could become key members in a successful 2011 campaign. The question for this evening is, who is it going to be?
