NFL Draft 2011 Grades: Are The Chiefs Top Of The Class?

The Kansas City Chiefs made a bit of a splash in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by trading back and then selecting WR Jonathan Baldwin with the 26th overall pick.

And now it is time for us to get out our red pens and grade books.

Over the next couple of weeks you will see many a snarky comment about draft grades and how they are pointless and almost always turned in too early.

Screw those people.

Draft grades are fun and fun is what this crap is all about. We’ll grade every single pick the Chiefs make this year and then we will debate it.

So let’s get after it.

Grade the Chiefs first round pick. Keep in mind you are grading the Chiefs on not just Jonathan Baldwin, but also their acquisition of an extra 3rd round pick, #70 overall. Their total first round haul was Jonathan Baldwin and the 6th pick in the third round.
