Quick correction on something we said yesterday that I wanted to clear up ahead of tonight’s schedule release.

In our preview of possible primetime games, we listed the possibility that the Chiefs could play the Lions on Thanksgiving Day. This is incorrect. The Cowboys and Lions take turns hosting AFC and NFC opponents and this year is the Lions year to play an NFC team.

There is often a night game on Thanksgiving on NFL Network so it possible the Chiefs could play on Turkey Day but it won’t be vs. the Lions. Sorry for the confusion.
