NFLPA Files Decertification Papers

The players union is a union no more.

At 5PM (EST) tonight the news broke that the players have filed papers to dissolve their union. It is expected that the NFL will now attempt to lock the players out and the players will file an antitrust suit against the league.

There are a lot of intricacies to be worked out but it is now likely that there will be football next season while the mess gets sorted out in the courts.
