“It’ll be interesting,” he said. “I think that they’re so far off in terms of how they want to do the profit margins, the split there with the revenue sharing and all that. I believe that they won’t meet the deadline by March 3rd. Now, I could be completely off but at the same time I do believe we’ll get a deal done hopefully before next season.
Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser wrote Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt last week regarding the NFL’s labor negotiations and the possibility of a lockout. Here is the text of the letter:
