The Kansas City Chiefs did their part today by beating the Tennessee Titans 34-14 at Arrowhead Stadium, now they just need the Cincinnati Bengals to hold on against the San Diego Chargers.

A Bengals victory would mean the Chiefs would win the AFC West. They currently lead the Chargers 13-0 after the first quarter.

The Chiefs showed they are pounded the Titans on the ground and through the air.

Matt Cassel lead the way, completing 24 of 34 pass attempts for 314 yards and 3 TD’s with no picks. Cassel’s favorite target was WR Dwayne Bowe, who returned to form reeling in 6 catches for 153 yards and a touchdown. The Chiefs QB also found RB Jamaal Charles twice through the air for touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Chiefs held Titans RB Chris Johnson in check, limiting him to 58 yards on 14 carries.

Titans QB Kerry Collins was also unable to get much going, completing 14 passes for 235 yards and 2 touchdowns but also 2 interceptions.

Picking off Collins were CB Brandon Carr and rookie Safety Eric Berry. Berry returned his interception for a touchdown, the first of his career.

Attention now turns to Cincinnati where the Bengals are trying to put the Chiefs in the playoffs. Go Bengals.
