Chiefs vs. Rams Prediction Thread

facebooktwitterreddit

The Chiefs will have traveled across the state today to take on the St. Louis Rams for the Governor’s Cup in a game with huge playoff implications.

The big questions around today’s game center around Matt Cassel and whether or not he will be fit to play just days after having an emergency appendectomy. Cassel practiced in a limited capacity all week and is listed as questionable. He is expected to be a game time decision.

After the jump, we have our staff picks.

Patrick: Chiefs 27, Rams 13

Not only is Cassel going to play, he is going to play well. The Chiefs have not played well on the road but to be honest, this is going to be as close to a road home game as the Chiefs will get. Expect plenty of red in the Edward Jones Dome and expect Romeo Crennel and his defense to clamp down the rookie QB Sam Bradford. The Chiefs will win easily and return home looking to get themselves into the playoffs.

Nick: Chiefs 27 Rams 13

Randy: Chiefs 27 Rams 20

I see it close with a kc breakout in fourth quarter.

Jeremy: Chiefs 28 Rams 13

Chiefs defense wins this game. With a sack fumble from Hali.

Big Matt: Chiefs 14 Rams 13

I have a sinking feeling conservative playcalling (grind it out!) will once again hurt us, but you have to hope these players will be fired up.

Merlin: Chiefs 21, Rams 20

Stephen Jackson has a big day but the Chiefs prevail behind……. Brodie Croyle!!!!!

Victor: Chiefs 24, Rams 14

For all the ups and downs, the Chiefs are yet to surrender control of their playoff destiny, and I don’t see it happening now.

Lyle: Chiefs 27, Rams 20

Cassel comes back and does just enough to let the run game open up.

Adam: Chiefs 21, Rams 17

Both teams are fighting for the playoffs and it will show in their play.

Double D: Chiefs 10, Rams 6

I see a nail biter.

Alright Addicts. It is time to put up or shut up. What are your picks for today’s game?
