Richardson Shoves Steve Hoffman

Kansas City Chiefs RT Barry Richardson got flagged for a false start penalty in today’s game against the Denver Broncos and lost hos cool a bit on the sideline, shoving special teams coach Steve Hoffman.Check out the video below.

Obviously Richardson can’t go around shoving his coaches and he will likely be leveled some kind of fine by the team, however I don’t think he should be suspended. There are a lot of emotions flying around out there and no one would be calling for a suspension if he had shoved one of his teammates. Obviously coaches are on a different level but I think a fine will do the trick.

Personally I like Richardson’s passion. He is still a pretty young player and he needs to learn how to control his emotions but he has never been a problem before and I don’t anticipate this being an ongoing issue.

What do you guys think about Richardson’s actions?
