Broncos Linebacker DJ Williams Arrested For DUI

Denver Broncos linebacker DJ Williams was arrested for driving under the influence early this morning according to The Denver Post.

Williams was apparently pulled over at 2:00 AM last night and the Broncos have confirmed that they are aware of the situation.

Whether or not the incident will impact Williams’ status for Sunday’s game remains to be seen. It has been reported that Josh McDaniels has stated that the team will defer to the league in this matter. If that is the case, the league may not have enough time to suspend Williams before Sunday’s game.

Williams is Denver’s best defensive player and is responsible for 72 tackles and 4 sacks for the Broncos this season.
