Chiefs Early Underdogs To Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs are 5-3 and the Denver Broncos are 2-6 but Las Vegas is favoring the Broncos.

The Chiefs are coming off a touch overtime loss to the Raiders but the Denver Broncos have been terrible in their recent contests, dropping back to back games to Oakland and San Francisco respectively.

Currently the Broncos are favored by 1 point.

If I were betting I would be taking the Chiefs in this one. Kansas City can’t be happy following their loss to the Raiders and while I don’t usually buy the “so and so team lost and now they are going to be angry and kill the next team they play” argument, I do think the Chiefs will come into Sunday’s game against the Broncos with a chip on their shoulder.

Denver hasn’t been particularly good against the run, relinquishing 154.6 yards-per-game on the ground. That is 31st in the NFL. They have been better against the pass, ranking 8th giving up only 204.4 yards-per-game.

I think the Chiefs are going to get their running game back on track this week and I look for them to win by more than one point.
