Report: Chiefs To Give Derrick Johnson Big Extension

The Kansas City Chiefs are having success this season and a big reason for that success is the play and development of some of their younger players.

One guy who has been around for a while but has underachieved has been linebacker Derrick Johnson. After spending last season on the bench, DJ is playing very well and the Chiefs have taken note.

Hopefully his source is solid. Signing DJ to a big extension would go a long way toward proving to fans that the Chiefs will spend the big bucks to keep their marquee players.
