Madden 11 Week 8 Roster Update: Rising Chiefs
We’ve been tracking the electronic version of the Chiefs for all of our Madden fans out there. There have been a few ratings decreased throughout the season but for the most part, Chiefs players have been on the rise.
Well the Week 8 roster update is out and it is all positive for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Let’s take a look at this week’s upgrades:
Thomas Jones | HB | KC | Increase, from 87 to 88OVR |
Jamaal Charles | HB | KC | Increase, from 88 to 89OVR |
Dwayne Bowe | WR | KC | Increase, from 83 to 84OVR |
Matt Cassel | QB | KC | Increase, from 80 to 81OVR |
More after the jump.
These are pretty decent upgrades. Jones has certainly earned his 88 with the way he has been running lately and both Dwayne Bowe and Matt Cassel have earned their increases as well. If Cassel and Bowe can continue to play well they could both reach the mid 80’s in a couple of weeks.
My only slight beef is the rating for Jamaal Charles. I know he is getting limited touches but JC is averaging over six yards a carry and we are nearly halfway through the season. I think last year’s performance, coupled with his running this year should be enough evidence to get him in to the 90’s. Still, 89 isn’t half bad and after facing Buffalo’s putrid run defense this weekend, Charles may find himself with a rating higher than 90 next week.
There you have it Addicts. The update should go live sometime this morning. Are you happy with the increases? Did they miss anything?
