In that short time, Greenwood — who is only 25 — has done something no other athlete from these parts, and few from this nation, has done — he’s made it to the National Football League, the big daddy of pro sports in North America.
Coming off of a great performance by the Chiefs against the Jaguars last week, I expect the KC defense to be ready for the all of a sudden booming Bills offense. The Chiefs have scored 20 fantasy points or more 4 out of 6 games this year, and I feel like that will not change when they play at home in Arrowhead against the Bills this week. Ryan Fitzpatrick will have issues with the secondary in Kansas City this week, especially with Brandon Flowers who will most likely be matched up with top team wide receiver Lee Evans.
“Honestly, I could care less about who somebody thinks should be starting,” Thomas said. “I’m here to do my job. I get paid to make plays; I’m not getting paid to start, I’m here to make plays. Jamaal’s getting paid to make plays as well.
“That whole situation was kind of corny to me to be honest. We’re both here trying to make plays to help the team win. For me, (starting) didn’t even cross my mind.”
