Thomas Jones Nominated For Fedex Player Of The Week

Thomas Jones has been nominated for the Fedex Air and Ground Player of the Week for his performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jones is the second Chiefs player to be nominated for an award this week. Earlier today we told you that Eric Berry was nominated for the Rookie of the Week award.

Jones faces some stiff competition this week as he is up against Raiders running back Darren McFadden who torched the Denver Broncos for 165 yards and 3 touchdowns on sixteen carries. McFadden also had a receiving touchdown.

Jones must also beat out Falcons running back Michael Turner who rushed for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Bengals.
