facebooktwitterreddit

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 42-20 Sunday to move to 4-2 on the season.

The rest of the AFC West was in action in the afternoon. The Chargers hosted the New England Patriots and the Raiders traveled to Denver to take on the Broncos.

The results are in and they are positive for the Chiefs.

The Chargers continued their bumbling ways and fell 23-20 despite a late comeback attempt.

The Raiders went to Denver and just stomped the Broncos 59-14.

The new AFC West standings are after the jump.

AFC West Standings

Kansas City Chiefs      4-2

Oakland Raiders         3-4

San Diego Chargers   2-5

Denver Broncos         2-5

The Chiefs maintained their game and a half lead over the Raiders and extended their lead over the Broncos and the Chargers to 2 1/2 games.

Up next for the AFC West:

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs will stay home this week and will host the 0-6 Bills. The Bills gave the Ravens a run for their money this week on the road so the Chiefs had better stay focused or this could turn in to a trap game.

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders return home after their big win over the Broncos to host the 4-2 Seahawks.

Denver Broncos

Denver goes on the road…like really on the road, to London, England to take on the 49ers. The NFL continues it’s longstanding tradition of hosting a “Toilet Bowl” in England.

San Diego Chargers

The Chargers stay home this week to host the 5-2 Tennessee Titans. The Chargers have now lost three straight games and have to go on the road to Houston after playing the Titans.
