I am going to keep this brief, because there is not too much to say about it.
Matt Cassel has been under a lot of pressure over the last couple of weeks and on Sunday against the Texans he looked great. He looked good in the first quarter, good in the second quarter, great in the third quarter, and was looking great in the fourth quarter until it mattered.
The point is when we absolutely positively had to have the completions; Matt Cassel severely overthrew his receivers. Specifically, late in the game on third down he overthrew Tony Moeaki who had position on the defender who was actually behind him. If Matt delivered the ball lower towards his knees, stomach or even his head, there was no way the defender was going to keep Moeaki from the ball without a pass interference call. Instead the ball was thrown way too high. Later during the last drive, Matt overthrew Copper, and Horne, all when we needed the completions desperately. Am I the only one who saw that, and should we be worried?
