Brandon Flowers Owns The AFC West

Kansas City Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers has been playing very well this season.

While I think most have notice a jump in Flowers’ already solid play, I didn’t realize until this afternoon just how big of a jump he has made.

Now thanks to ESPN’s KC Joyner, I know.

Joyner took a look at the CB play in the AFC West and while he noted that guys like Champ Bailey and Nnamdi Asomugha were slipping, there was one CB that is playing very, very well.

His name is Brandon Flowers.

According to Joyner, Flowers has been thrown at 31 times this season and has given up a total of 81 yards. That is just 2.6 yards per pass.

The NFL is officially being put on notice: Brandon Flowers is a shutdown corner.
