Chiefs Vs. 49ers:Tyson Jackson, O’Callaghan Doubtful

If the Chiefs are going to continue their winning streak they will have to do it without their starting right tackle and starting left defensive end.

According to Josh Looney via Twitter, both players are listed as doubtful on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the 49ers.

O’Callaghan has been out since the preseason with a groin injury and Jackson went down late in the season opener against the Chargers with a knee.

More after the jump:

In O’Callaghan’s absense, Berry Richardson will get his third straight start at RT. Richardson appears to be improving though he looks to be good for about one sack a game so far. If he can continue to improve, O’Callaghan may find himself permantly on the bench.

In place of Jackson will be backup Shaun Rodgers. Rodgers has played very well in stead of Jackson. Last week, Browns center Alex Mack accused Smith of grabbing his genitals during the game. Mack then got hot and committed a personal foul penalty on Derrick Johnson netting the Chiefs 15 yards. Smith denied Mack’s accusations.

I say grab on Mr. Smith. Whatever works.
