Pro Football Talk is reporting that Chiefs WR/Returner/Offensive Weapon Dexter McCluster has been awarded the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award.

He shares the honor with Arian Foster (Offense) of the Texans and Jaguars linebacker Daryl Smith (Defense).

McCluster (Special Teams) returned a punt 94 yards for a touchdown in his first ever NFL game. The return ended up being the difference in Kansas City’s 21-14 victory over division rival San Diego.

Not bad for his first week in the NFL, eh?
