Chiefs Links: NFL Means “No Fun Loss” for Detroit Lions Against Chicago Bears

Matthew Stafford was knocked out in the first half, Jay Cutler threw for nearly 400 yards and yet the Lions were on the cusp of pulling their first road win in 20 games.

Then the NFL rule book got involved.

Calvin Johnson grasped a 25-yard pass in the end zone from Shaun Hill, got both feet down, went down to the ground with the ball in one hand, landed on his side, got another hand down on the ground and finally released the ball from his other hand as the ball hit the ground. Apparently “the process” wasn’t completed; incomplete pass.

From SideLion Report, Fansided’s Lions blog.

I know this isn’t Chiefs related but I am sure you, like me, saw the ridiculous call in the Lions/Bears game. The Lions were robbed of a victory because of a technicality. It was an awful call. What do you guys think?
