Twitter Alert: Cardinals To Release Leinart

Adam Schefter just tweeted that the Cardinals have informed Matt Leinart that they will release him today.

Personally, I think the Chiefs go after Leinart. Decent QB’s are hard to come by and Leinart, for all his problems, is a better QB than Tyler Palko in my eyes.

That being said, I highly doubt the Chiefs will take my advice here. Matt Cassel at behind Leinart at USC and it might be damaging to Cassel’s psycheto bring Leinart in.

Still, with Haley’s history in Arizona it is a situation worth keeping a skeptical eye on.
