When the Kansas City Chiefs meet the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football on September 13th, Philip Rivers will have one more weapon than KC was counting on. According to NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora, the Cowboys have traded WR Patrick Crayton to the Chargers.

From LaCanfora’s Twitter:

The Chargers have acquired Patrick Crayton, according to league source. Interesting move. More fortification if they deal Vincent Jackson

It appears the Chargers gave up a 7th round pick for Crayton. While this isn’t a blockbuster move, Crayton is a veteran who should be able to help the Chargers passing game and that is bad news for the Chiefs.

I dont like this at all,i think the chiefs should of went after him.ive been saying all long were one reciever short and that he could of helped us.we still need somebody, maybe we can get sam hurd .anything to better ourselves.

Looks like Page is trying to pay the Chiefs back by signing his tender a day before they trim the roster to 53.

This is actually good news. It is indicative of the mediocre WR talent that the Chargers have.

Bet you they wish they had Chambers back!

Who is better Chambers or Crayotn?

but chambers was not producing at all..also chambers has better stats, but at this point you cant say he's better because of his age and diminished speed.. not only that but crayton is a punt returner which chambers is not
