Comments Of The Week
We haven’t done this in a while so I thought it was time to honor some of AA’s best and brightest commenters.
"I swear Patrick you write what I’m thinking almost every time. We had a discussion about stop gap players a few weeks ago. To me this is a perfect example of getting a young guy with potential in there now and get some experience so we can make a serious run at the playoffs next year. Improvement, competitive this year, playoffs next year. Vrabel is a stop gap guy with great leadership qualities but he’s not the permanent answer at OLB."

"For the Chiefs, it is the contrary : with the recent history, preseason should mean a lot because a 0.500 or more preseason record can indicate something positive for this unsure and fumbling team. A 0-4, with the first team stinking hell like vs Atlanta, and you can be sure you’re in for a long long and painful season."

"Cassell looked good. Really good at that. Jevon Belcher looked down right intimidating. He hits folks to make it hurt. He will be our defensive leader. He is a fast head hunter who does nothing but tackle people. The Chiefs starting defense started better than she did last game and just kept playing like they did against the Falcons. Lights out. Crennel has made them faster and more aggressive. The offensive line played really well too. The only reason Cassel got sacked was because Charles did not cut his man. I’ve changed my mind about those Chiefs they will win football games this year not sure how many but on any given Sunday."
