More Reflections From Training Camp

AA has some of the best readers out there. You showed that this weekend as many of you sent in your own thoughts, observations and photos from Chiefs training camp. The staff here at AA and the readers who can’t make it to St. Joe’s greatly appreciate it.

I am stuck in jury duty today but thankfully they have internet access so when I am not putting criminal scum behind bars, I will be blogging it up for you folks.

"I wanted to let you know that a few of us went to St. Joe for training camp this weekend and it was really eye opening. The team looks improved in a lot of areas.One of the best conversations I had while in town was with Mitch Holthus. He was fixing to do some video spots and we were able to pick his brain for a while. Here are the high points:– Be watching the one on one lineman drills. The coaches pay a lot of attention to these drills – so should we.– Watch out for running back Tervaris Johnson…he is underestimated.– We talked for a while about the unfortunate situation of 3 years ago using 2 picks in the draft on safety and then doing it again here in 2010. Mitch had some unique insight on what happened with Bernard Pollard, but had nothing to say about Jarrad Page…that may have had something to do with berry walking into camp that day (Jarrad who?).– Holthus is really excited about Kendrick Lewis."
