Thanks to Twitter we get news instantly. The Chiefs haven’t confirmed anything yet but Eric Berry has Tweeted that he is heading to St. Joes!
Bout to head to st. Joe!!!
Word should break any time! Berry has about an hour before the first practice kicks off. He isn’t likey to make it on the field today as he has to get through his conditioning test and weigh in.
Update: I spoke to a representative from A3, the agency that represents Berry. Unfortunately they could not confirm the deal at this time.
It may be that the deal is “agreed to” but not yet signed. If Pioli is in St. Joeseph, Berry will likely drive out there, go sign his deal and then get out to practice. If you remember when the Chiefs were on HBO and Larry Johnson was holding out that is what they did. He went straight in to Carl’s office, signed and then ran to get ready for practice.
