Addict Notes: Dominoes Beginning To Fall

Late last evening things started happening with training camps right around the corner.

There is finally a first round pick under contract as the Cowboys inked Dez Bryan to a deal. Hopefully that signing is the first of many dominoes that will start falling. How fast those dominoes will tumble remains to be seen.

Personally, I think the odds of Eric Berry getting to camp on time are slim to none. You can never say never but his contract is going to be worth so much money that his agent isn’t likely to budge until the 4 guys before him are signed.

That means we are waiting on the Rams to get something done with Sam Bradford.

Also relevant to the Chiefs is the news that the Denver Donkeys have signed pass rushing specialist Elvis Dumervil to a 6 year deal worth $61.5 million has in the neighborhood of $41-43 million in guaranteed bucks.

It is a ton of money but Dumervil is a beast and no one knows better than Chiefs fans the value of an impact pass rusher. Looks like the Red and Gold will have to deal with “Doom” for a little longer.
