Arrowhead Adventures! On The Road To Training Camp!!!!!

facebooktwitterreddit

Training camp is right around the corner, and like the rest of the staffers here at AA, I can’t freakin wait! Your Arrowhead Adventurer will make the trip this year, my first ever! If plans go the way I hope, I shall be there two full days, if not I’ll make it a day trip. Either way,  I will be working with Patrick to keep the site updated with exclusive photos, opinions, and player reports.

Of course you can expect plenty of my usual Arrowhead  stories, I can’t wait to get back on the road to adventure!

My buddy Dale was in St Joe last week, and was able to sneak into the practice facility for some Arrowhead Addict exclusive photos. Nothing to blow your skirt up, but their clandestine nature has an exciting angle to it. I’m told the turf has those little black granules in it. He apparently snuck in during lunch, as he reported a flurry of construction activity. He tells me the entire set up is first rate, something all of us Chiefs fans can really be proud of.

More photos after the jump.

The ticket auctions for 2010 games show a very slight but steady increase . Pregame seats can be had for as low as $1.00, some regular season games as low as $13.00. Lower level seats for both are hanging at face value or higher. At this time, my advice is to buy now for any 2010 games you might be attending. I have never seen upper level seating cheaper.

Overnighters for the 2010 games might want to reserve their hotel rooms as well. Close to the game you will probably want to look at the Drury Inn. Otherwise my favorite place to stay is somewhere at the Plaza. Most places you an cancel up to the afternoon of your arrival, so there is really no downside to booking early.

All the regular season games this year are at noon, so those with up to six hour drives can make day trips to all the home games again this year. for 2010.

For those of you who have been on another planet or vacationing under a rock, the 2010 KC Chiefs training camp starts July 30, and will be held at new facilities on the Campus of Missouri Western in St Joe Missouri.  Looks like it will be a cheap visit, admission is free and so is parking. It should be a great opportunity to watch the team train, meet players and coaches, and just have an all around great time.

I’m the self proclaimed Arrowhead expert for AA, so if you are planning a trip to KC for a game this year or training camp, feel free to post any quesstions or email me at arrowheadadventurer@gmail.com and we will get you on the right track. Until next week, keep banging it on AA!
