Reminder: AA Needs A Staff Writer

This was posted yesterday. I will likely be posing it daily as a reminder to those who may have missed it. Submissions are already rolling in. Remember, only those being considered will be posted on the main page. You will be judged on your creativity as well as your sentence structure.  Any submissions posted to the main page may be edited. Thank you for you interested in writing for Arrowhead Addict.

A couple of weeks ago that I mentioned that AA might be looking to hire a staff writer or two. After giving it some thought, I have decided to do it.

I am looking to add 1, possibly 2 writers to our staff. AA staff members are not paid but if you enjoy writing and you are passionate about the Chiefs, this site can gain you a lot of exposure. It is also a lot of fun.

Since the position is not paid, you will only be required to write a minimum of 1 post per week. This is a great opportunity to share your thoughts and views on all things KC Chiefs with the AA community. Reliability is just as important to me as the quality of your writing so if you don’t think you can commit to 1 post a week, every week, please do not submit.

Please send a sample article of 500 words or more to:

You may cover any topic you like as long as your work has a Chiefs focus and meets the minimum of 500 words.

If you are being considered for the position, I will post your article on the main page to see how the community responds to your work.

The submission deadline is Sunday, June 13th at midnight. I look forward to reading your submissions.
