Chiefs Have A Big Week Ahead

The Chiefs go back to work today for the start of what will be there most important week of practice thus far.

They begin with OTA sessions Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday is a prep day for the mandatory 3 day mini camp which kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday. The Chiefs will then wrap up their offseason program Monday and Tuesday with the last 2 OTAs.

That means the Chiefs will be practicing every day this week except for Thursday, when they will be prepping for mini camp. I am not sure which sessions the media will be allowed to watch but you can be sure we will bring you a summary of all practice reports as they come out.

Following the conclusion of OTAs and the mini camp, the Chiefs will break for the rest of June and most of July. During this time, the Chiefs will begin signing their rookies. There will also likely be a number of players released.

Enjoy the action this week because once that last OTA is over, everyone will scatter until training camp in late July.
