Round 2 Of OTAs Kicks Off Today

Kansas City Chiefs 2005 Minicamp

Ok, who remembers Dee Brown? (Source: Yardbarker.com)

Today at 10:30 AM Arrowhead Time, the Chiefs will hit the field to begin round 2 of OTAs.

The Chiefs will work out today and Tuesday, will have Wednesday off and will wrap things up on Thursday.

This next round of practices is just another chance for the team to build on what they accomplished last week. These practices are really important as they lay the groundwork for what the team will be doing all season. If all goes well, the coaches will have everything installed so that when training camp kicks off later this summer, the Chiefs will be able to hit the ground running.

It will be nice to see what the Chiefs and Matt Cassel can do this season with a full offseason without interruption. Last year, as you know, Todd Haley fired offensive coordinator Chan Gailey 3 weeks before the season, basically nullifying all of the offensive work done over the summer.

Check back here this afternoon as we’ll have info for you as the practice reports come in.
