Shock And Awe: The Official Logo

You may remember the other day I announced the winning AA nicknames for the Jamaal Charles/Thomas Jones RB tandem. We decided on “Shock and Awe” for the tandem and “Haley’s Comet” for Charles alone.

I made a call for reader submissions of an official AA logo for these nicknames and reader Joe R. stepped up and designed a pretty bad ass logo for Charles and Jones. (T-shirts may follow).

Thus, I present to you, the official AA logo for “Shock and Awe!”


Props to Joe for doing a kick ass job!

We still need something for Jamaal Charles, AKA, “Haley’s Comet.” If anyone out there has some skillz, lets see em! Logo submissions can be sent to me at [email protected]

haley's comet is a ok nickname and thats me trying to be nice, but how about this. jamaal charles wears a red uniform, and at times he was, more than not he was light in a bottle. who dose that remind you of? how about the flash. when the chiefs drafted him right away i knew he would be a star and that's when i gave him the name, the Flash!

gosh I really tried to kill haley's comet as the name...hate tying charles to haley...its just how it works with that name...hes still do it all to me...since till our draft picks step on the field hes still our best returner/special teamer/running back/reciever(sorry bowe)

Hey y'all "Haley's Comet" is coming today! I have a few ideas. As far as the nickname is concern... it's a bit of a mouth full. I think "Comet" or "the Comet" works better from a marketing stand point. But, I'm working with what was picked "Haley's Comet." So, stay tune party people!

Haley's Comet I think, could o down is the greatest nickname in sports history...so long as JC holds up his end of the bargain.

As for it being a mouthful....nah, The Great Babmbino worded out ok. =)

I think the Shock And Awe logo is cool. Joe did a fine job.

Hell of a lot better than I could do.

But we still do need a Haley's Comet logo.

Huge chiefs fan here ! I dont like the nick name shock and awe for our backs ! Smash and Dash sounds alot better to me ! Smash being TJ and Dash being JC

Smash and Dash was in the running Manwarrior but Shock and Awe won the vote.

It may not be your favorite but I think it is still a pretty sweet nickname.
