What Would You Do?

Is it draft time already? Geesh! I am dying here. We need some new stuff to write, argue, and discuss. For the time being, let’s imagine we are picking for the Rams and are selecting the number one draft pick. Would you draft a player with that pick without getting a contract signed beforehand?
Word is that Sam Bradford, (who is the consensus number one pick),will not sign a contract prior to the draft.
With the amount of money and leverage associated with the pick, I think the Rams would be crazy to not get thier number one signed prior to the draft. I would be calling McCoy and Suh and working a deal with them (probably a better deal). Bradford’s attitude could cost him some serious coin.
Any delay in getting your top pick into camp is suicide; especially a QB. Look no further to Matt Leinart’s, Brady Quinn’s and Jamarcus Russell’s holdout for further evidence. What do you think? What would you do?
