The coaching connections are interesting, remember Hall of Fame Coach Bill Walsh who was the o-line coach in the Chiefs hay-day. His West Coast offense was Hall of Fame Coach Henry Stram's offense, altered slightly for the rule changes. Haley went to a more up tempo offense after letting Gailey go, because it is part of the adjustment to rule changes.

I am in agreement with you dubldug. Haden will confine the oppositions passes to a predictable side of the field which has to help the pass rush and the coverage. We'll not likely have another chance soon finding a corner with his skills. He provides help for our safeties as well.

JRiver, as Haden is a pure corner and Berry is not stout enough to play strong safety at 204lbs. Most folks have Berry rated a little higher. The corner positions are hands down the most important in the secondary, and in this pass happy league, Haden is too good of value to pass on unless, the next Joe Thomas is available. There is a lot hype, some justifiable of Berry's attributes, but safety can be covered with a lesser value pick in a deep safety draft class this year. I might consider Berry if he was the only safety worth picking, but he isn't and guys who play corner like Haden are rare. Also Morgan might be getting it finally and become the safety he was drafted to be.

That would be a good topic to discuss. If we draft only one sfety do we go FS or SS?

I say SS since Page can play decently and Brown is done.
