A suggestion to ponder; if Magee at DT or DE is stronger and able to play better, Donny Washington and P. Walters having a chance to be in a NFL environment start adding contributions wouldn't the D need less work? Last year we drafted heavy on D and still sucked big time and you want to repeat that draft? Ideally we trade out but if not we have 4 to 5 players to pick from. A cb.safety,ot,dt,or wr. Justification for any of the above can be made. Pioli gets to decide who is best, who is most talented and who is most needed? Who is the best football player?

That's excellent, so we'd be back to the good old days with Coach Vermeil. An excellent O-Line, a really good offense.....and an awful defense. Thats not going to win any championships. We've got way too many holes on defense to use the first two (or in dubldug's "alternate scenario" three and one of our best defensive guys) picks on the O-Line. I know that our O-Line won't be perfect, but if we spend that much trying to make it perfect, we will have to watch teams set records and watch no names become superstars against our defense for another long year. You want to use the first pick on O-Line fine, its not my first choice but that's fine, but after that we better use the next two to get some defensive help. I don't want to watch anymore 41-34 games against the hapless Browns!

HAHAHA, with Pioli's unusual drafting history you need to consider alternate scenarios.

You know if you liked Pouncy in the bottom third of the first, would you offer DJ and our (2b). Imagine the uproar after you drafted Baluga, Pouncy and Saffold. Imagine the O-LINE!
