I agree with Mike, we need a stud nose tackle and that will improve our whole defense. I have always been a d. morgan fan and if given the chance I think could be a real stud! One last thing, DO NOT SIGN T. OWENS, I REPEAT DO NOT SIGN T. OWENS!!!!!!

I know this is way off the subject, but I just got done watching NFL network and they were talking about T.O. At this point of being a die hard Chiefs fan I am so sick of hearing about who is best for us and who is not. Why should we not go after one of the best players availible (the above forementioned) All differences aside between Haley and T.O. (Dallas days) I say let bygons be bygons and go do what we need to do!!! P.S I might have had a few drinks before this post , but it makes sense to me

Nice post and I must agree with the exception of not taking a D-lineman. If Gerald McCoy or, GOD BLESS US, Suh are available I say that is equivalent to finding a stud back eight. Either of those two can be game changers based on stopping the run AND rushing the passer if used properly. We have two outside "studs" in Dorsey and Jackson, so adding a NT that is better than those two put together actually helps the back 8. Add in the emergence of Tamba Hali on the LOLB/ROLB spot, keep DJ inside with Mays or Belcher and keep Studebaker swapping out with Vrabel and our linebackers get even better due to the play up front by the DL. The game has always been won in the trenches and if the DL steps up with Dorsey, Jackson/Magee and McCoy (Suh will most definitely be gone by our #5)then our LB's and DB's will improve as well. I have been a STRONG supporter of keeping Flowers and Carr at CB and keeping Page right where he is and either insert Dajuan Morgan (if he is still on the team). Morgan needs time to develop and we should give it to him. Everyone said he was a steal where we got him in the draft and based on the flashes I have seen, they could be right. IF by chance we take Eric Berry, then I think you make Page, Berry, and Morgan battle it out for the two Safety spots.
