Thomas Jones Signs With Chiefs

The moment we have all been waiting for has arrived! The Chiefs have made their first big splash into the free agency pool and the water is fine. Adam Schefter is reporting the Chiefs got Jones for a 2 year, 5 million dollar contract.

This is a bargain! Jones rushed for over 1400 yards last season! he will be the big back the team is looking for. The thunder to the Jamaal Charles lightening if you will. the contract is reasonable and is only 2 years so if T.J. loses his skills the Chiefs aren’t on the hook for a long term, expensive deal. Very nice move by Scott Pioli.
