Some teams wait for things to settle down. Still lot of free agents. And I do believe Chiefs will be surprise team in 2010.

I sure hope he’s right.

There still interest in RFA & I think they should call Cle for 2 of Romeos old players.
A 2nd rnd pick could net us ILB Dqwell Jackson & Dt Shaun Rogers. 2 starters on D for 1 2nd rnd pick is better then those ridicolous contracts handed out yesterday
People need to trust the Front Office. They all know a little more than you I think. This is a totally new off-season full of 30-something FA that are looking for huge contracts (considering it will probably be their last). There is still many solid FA out there and YES teams like to sit and wait till the dust clears, because yesterday was a crazy day full of overpaid high priced deals
So I don't understand why fans are getting upset over it. I think Pioli is one of the best at evaluating talent and this is where he excels, is the Draft. Just sit back and relax!!
Actually chiefsfanatic, that does make them better. Quite a bit better. I agree they still need some players to carry out "the plan." I too am disappointed with the 1st day of free agency, but that doesn't mean they aren't going to be more active today or the rest of free agency. To say they are just collecting their checks and not wanting to build a winning team is ridiculous. To keep their jobs they NEED to win. We have some hope. I have to believe that Pioli, Haley, Weis and Crennel know what they are doing. Let's just wait and see.
Yes their the surprize team that will sit back and do nothing to better them selves,Why would they care, their getting their big fat checks.just because they got a offensive corridinator, and a defensive cordinator with a name doesnt mean their that much better.
