Well, there it is. Now the only question is, who is going to go for it? Thoughts?
Twitter Alert: Marshall Can Be Had For A 1st Round Pick

MARSHALL, LIKE SO MANY OTHERS, NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO GET ALONG. CHANGING TEAMS DOESN'T CHANGE ADDITUDES! THEY GET PAYED ALOT TO PLAY A GAME, DO YOUR JOB AND THANK GOD YOU GET PAID TO DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND GET PAID FOR IT. IF THEY WOULD JUST REALIZE FANS DON'T LIKE ALL THE BS. LET THEM SIT OUT FOR A SEASON WHILE THEY FLIP BURGERS FOR MIN WAGE AND THEY MIGHT SEE THE LIGHT! WE WON'T MISS THEM SO MUCH WE STOP WATCHING. BE GREAT ON AND OFF THE FIELD. THET'D BE AMAZED AT THE RESPONSE.
If we go after a reciever it should be AB for a 2nd. I disagree on spending a 1st pick on a guy that is no doubt a catching/offensive machine, but there are still plenty of character issues that concern me. Go Berry and if he is gone take Okung.
AGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH! (Attention Pioli - Must read if your out there :P)
Screw Brandon Marshall.
I DEMAND me some Dumervil.
Heres how it works.
Our 1st pick, 2nd 2nd, 3rd pick and Matt Cassel;
For Dumervil, and their 2nd 1st pick.
Yeah I see no way the Chiefs go for BM.
But I won't be shocked if someone does. It might come through a trade but I think the Donks would like to get rid of him.
I have to disagree with a comment you made dubldug "We want to win now so why try to develop a prospect when you get an all-pro?" Unless the We you are referring to is the fans. Pioli and Haley both have made several comments that they are attempting to build a consistent winner and that while wining now is important the goal is to build consistency. I can't see them giving up a first (top 5) pick for a headcase receiver. Would I trade my top 5 pick for him? No - he has the skills but to many red flags come up with his attitude.

One last comment. Our coach is an offense guy and last year was a defense pick. For his style of offense we have to have a receiver, what better than an all-pro. Yeah we have many holes to fill but to discount firepower on offense is moronic, and to think we will turn the team around with an OL, NT or DB is really questionable as the team that scores the most wins.
This guy is not receiving help. He is a top 5 or better #1 receiver in the NFL which ain't easy to come by. WE could not draft a rookie who would help this team more. We want to win now so why try to develop a prospect when you get an all-pro? The best scenario is to get him with Denver's #1 for our #1.
I agree it is most unlikely, but the better scenario is Denver wants Clausen and dangles the receiver with the early #1 dor the #5. We get the receiver we are desperate for and still draft the nose williams.
Hey jeremy fix your email, all i get when i hit your comments on the AA website is tour picture ad. thanks.

I agree. No way the Chiefs go anywhere near Marshall. They can find receiving help without giving a division rival their first round pick.
I wouldn't do it. KC has bigger needs than receiver and they could get someone at NT, OL, or Safety which are all bigger needs. If KC resigns Chambers they can team him with Bowe and I imagine that one guy on the roster or a free agent\draft pick will step up to be #3. That's not perfect but it'll get us by for a year. Edwards may be too old to make it through a whole season at NT and we have no depth on a mediocre Oline. Throw in the fact that Brown will almost certainly be injured and we do not have a backup who can hold the secondary together and we can do better than a WR. Especially since you could probably get a Boldin or Breaston type player for a second or third round pick plus a later pick. If they'd take a second I'd do it but not the #5 overall for him.
It is tempting, but can Haley and Marshall get along?
Probably not, but who knows.
I bet Washington comes calling.
