We have done a lot of talking about free agency and the draft around here in recent weeks and with free agency right around the corner, I thought we should get an idea of just what Chiefs nation is thinking. We have debated the pros and cons of a number of free agents so I thought I would throw a little poll together to find out, once and for all, what we all think the Chiefs should do when the clock strikes midnight on March 5th.
The top free agents are likely to go quick, some within hours, so the Chiefs will need to have a strategy in place if they plan on going for one of the big names. We also know that Pioli and Co. plan to mostly build through the draft so if the team goes for a big name free agent, my guess is they will only sign one.
I have made the case that the Chiefs should sign an impact player on defense. For me that means either Peppers, Rolle or Dansby. In the end, I voted for Dansby.
