Texans To Let Dunta Robinson Hit The Market

The Houston Texans are going to let Dunta Robinson test the free agent market. According to John McClain of the Houston Chronical, the Texans, who used the franchise tag on Robinson last year, will not repeat that move this offseason.

Robinson will clearly be the best CB to hit the market and someone is going to cough up big bucks for him. Should it be the Chiefs?

The league is getting really pass crazy and with QB’s like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Philip Rivers slinging footballs all over the field from 3 and 4 and sometimes 5 receiver sets, it appears that teams can never have enough help at CB.

As we have been tracking the Chiefs draft interests, I have noticed that it seems they are looking hard at CB’s. Might they make a charge at Robinson? I have to admit, Robinson, Flowers and Carr would be pretty formidable.

Leigh Bodden of the NE Patriots is also likely to hit the market. Bodden is only 28 and obviously has a Pioli connection. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Chiefs went after one of these two guys.
